Law College
Dehradun - A Journey Beyond Compare
“Great
visions have humble beginnings.”
Law
College Dehradun was started from merely a couple of rooms,
and now it is housed in an exotic and towering mansion with
a world-class infrastructure. Within a short span of its
inception, it has carved a niche for itself among the
top-notch Law Colleges of the country. It is led by a group
of visionaries including our Hon'ble Chairman, Mr. Jitendra
Joshi, our Managing Director Mr. G. P. Sharma, Law College
Principal Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna among others and is empowered
by a strong student- body.
We can truly boast of an exceptionally qualified and
experienced faculty – matchless by any teaching standards.
The college nurtures each student based on their unique
talent. The emphasis is placed on imparting practical
aspects of teaching through internship and legal awareness
camps. The personality and professional skills of the
students are grown through the functioning of many
established societies of the College such as The Debating
Society, The Moot Court Society, Youth Parliament and The
Legal Aid and Awareness Cell.
Regular guest lectures by highly placed lawyers and jurists
ensure that our students are guided by the stalwarts in the
Law profession. State-of-the-art amenities have been
provided by the College including a Wi-Fi Campus, a moot
court and an exceptionally well-stocked library. A
harmonious and congenial atmosphere amidst a magnificent
campus gives impetus to our students to engross themselves in their
studies with a total focus.
A tradition of excellence has been established at our
college with many university rank-holders invariably
emerging from among our students each year. Many of our
ex-students have enrolled themselves with foreign
universities for higher studies and several have firmly
established themselves in renowned Law firms. Numerous now proudly
walk into corridors of various High Courts and The Supreme
Court of India, bringing laurels to their alma mater.
