Rules & Regulations

1. All admissions are provisional.

2.
A candidate shall not be entitled to claim admission as a matter of right even if he/she is otherwise eligible. The college reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual without assigning any reason.

3. The candidate is required to produce original certificates, documents, character certificates, statements of requisite percentage of marks of the qualifying examination at the time of interview/reporting for admission, failing which he/ she will not be interviewed/allowed to complete admission formalities.

No candidate shall be admitted unless he/she has completed all eligibility requirements at the time of admission. Candidates awaiting results of their supplementary/ compartment/ improvement of performance examination shall not be considered/ admitted.

5.
Fees except caution money, once deposited by a student shall neither be returned nor adjusted under any circumstances.

6.
Candidates not reporting for admission at the stipulated date and time shall forfeit their chance and the offer of admission shall be given to the candidate next in order of merit. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

7.
The college shall not be responsible in any manner for the postal delays/courier delays/destruction.

8.
If after enrolment in the college a student does not attend classes without leave for more than seven days his/her name shall be struck off the college rolls.

9.
It shall be the responsibility of all students to take note of all the Notices displayed on the Notice Board for their information and compliance. Failure to read the notices displayed on the Notice Board will not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance of instructions.

10.
Students shall have to abide by the rules and regulations enforced from time to time by the College/University/Bar Council of India.

Law College Dehradun is strictly a non-smoking zone and consumption of any category of alcohol, tobacco, pan masala, gutkha and drugs etc. is strictly prohibited. Any kind of ragging and sexual harassment are viewed by the management as a serious issue for disciplinary proceedings leading to expulsion from the College. Violation of Code of Conduct would invite suspension. While the students are permitted to use mobile phones but mobile phones with cameras are strictly prohibited anywhere on the campus. Mobile phones shall not be used in the academic block, administrative block and library.

All disputes whether civil or criminal arising from any action taken by the College shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Dehradun courts.
